I don't wish to start a flame, but can anyone give me any Suggestions on a few good Handgun Hunting Outfitters in Africa?? Preferably ones with websites?? ALSO, Am I correct in my understanding that handgun hunting is permitted ONLY in South Africa?? If so, any chance that Namibia will legalize handgun hunting in the near future?? Thanks, Bill.
As you may know, RSA has just instituted some new firearm regs effective July 1 that may very well impact you, depending upon what you plan to use. I would contact Anne @ Air 2000 by e-mail (anne@air2000.com) to get the details. We just got back on July 2, and I understand the new regs are causing some confusion, both with hunters and the authorities @ JIA. Anne was very helpful in getting us through SAP and on our way within a few minutes of our arrival. They didn't even check our ammo.
Also, some handgun hunters I have hunted with use Madubula Safari's with great success. They have taken quite a few SCI No. 1 animals with handgun hunters, especially T/C Encores. Their web site is www.madubula.com.
Good luck with your plans.

If it remains legal to hunt with a handgun in RSA either a contender or a Revolver your're welcome to hunt with us in 2005. We only take a limited number of hunters for our natural wild game. I have had archery muzzleloaders and handguns many times in our camp. And I do have a web site: www.huntingadventures.net

Last October we had a client take the first mt. nyala ever taken with a handgun. It IS legal in Ethiopia. No one has tried it on East Arican plains game there as of yet. Rich Elliott

Thanks for all the replies. Are you sure about Zimbabwe, I thought "Bob" was ultra paranoid about any handguns coming into his little fiefdom!! I was basically just curious about where African handgun hunting is legal, although a dream hunt would be for kudu & buffalo!!! Thanks, Bill.
