Have tried to find some information on Perrin Double rifles..
Found this one amongst H&H second-hand guns:
Perrin 9,3x74R
Wants a double, L.O.P is good for me...
What about prizing?
In which countries is it legal to use the 9,3 for Big Five, BTW?

I've handled a couple of the Perins and they are good guns, but not fine guns. Probably comparable to a Chapuis.

6500Euro sounds a bitt stiff for a BL 9.3.

I'm not sure how the Kroner is trading compared to the dollar, but if I were you, and it were strong, I'd be gathering up those Euros/Kroners and be over here in the US looking for a double rifle.

It would definitely be worth your while.

I thought the prize was a bit stiff myself. Well it all depends on if it`s a fine or a good gun I guess.. Smiler
Can get a new standard Chapuis for less that prize.. That`s for sure. I`m actually not looking for a best gun or something. They`re out of my league (yet).. Cool
Where`s the no 1 place in US for doubles..? Have read about Champlin Firearms (G. Caswell)..

The Internet Gun Club looks very interesting. Will look deeeeply into it. Thanks for the listing Mehul Kamdar! Who has made this one? Hmmm...? "Scratching my head" Smiler

I believe that Perrin is made in France not the UK.

Those bolters are very "contintental" looking.

Champlins would be a good starting place for a double. If George doesn't have what you want in stock, he often "knows where one is."

Anders,
For about $ 10.000 you can have a side by side doble rifle made from "scratch" by P O Stenmark in a caliber of your choice!

Please look at this link, Pay P O a call and a have a chat with him.

The quality is very impressive.

TJF is a Suhl maker whose quality exceeds thier pricing.

If memory serves me, this is a 375, Sidelock, with 100% game scene engraving that cost about 12K imported.
