I had a flood that ruined a signed first edition of White Hunter by Brian Herne. Anybody know if he's still alive? Or how much a signed first edition costs?

So sorry to hear about the damage to your book.

I just have a standard edition and it is one of the best books I have read on African hunting.

He was still around in the US about 5 years ago. No further updates.

Ahh, the old douchenozzle expression returns!!! Excellent and apropos. I repeat myself- you can't fix stupid. And shootacow meets the criteria.

One of my hunters gave me a copy of White Hunter. I quite enjoyed it.

I listened to the AudioBook White Hunter by Brian Hearne and enjoy it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but after listening to it a couple of times, I really cannot understand all the animosity directed toward Capstick after hearing about the exploits of other PH's.
