Wayne Pacelle? The same Wayne Pacelle whose Humane Society of the United States spends less than one half of one percent of their 100 Million dollar war chest on local Humane Society shelters anually?
Wayne is the Master of master manipulators and only in this gig to line his own silk pockets.
Frankly, he should be sitting in a prison cell serving out a sentence on RICO charges.

This reminds me of pigs rolling in shit!

All the bloody pigs are out in force, because they have heard of a little shit hole and they could not run fast enough to get into it.

Some of the articles written are nothing short of criminal, but, the so called "authorities" are turning a total blind to it.

Kids at school putting black make up on are investigated for racialism!!

Granted, this was an opinion piece.(not journalism)

But it reads like a paid advertisement.

I wish I had been a fly on the wall in the CNN editors office when they were making the final decision...
I mean what on God's green earth is the rationale behind that decision?
Who are they going to invite to do the rebuttal, Out Of Africa Adventurous Safaris?
Come on...really?

As to the "journalism" being churned out on this incident, well, it appears to me that in the rush to keep up with ratings, or maybe to satiate the instant-gratification generation with a 30 second sound byte, journalistic integrity has been thrown out with the bath water, and all that has been left behind is a dirty ring of sensationalism.

Worse yet, the unwashed masses gobble it all up like it's the gospel truth.

I should be clear that I'm not singling out CNN. Over the last week I've seen atrocious reporting on this from every single major media outlet. They should all be ashamed.

It really is a sad sign of the times we are living in.

And the donations pour in to HSUS. I loved this quote:
"And we must publicly shame the people who feed their egos and fill their dens with the blank stares of dead animals."

There goes my trophy room.

Most of my money I spent on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted

By the way, I love sitting in my trophy room and being gazed at by the blank stares of all the dead animals. Each one brings back vivid memories of the hunt on which it was killed (taken, for those to whom "killed" is not politically correct), and even more vivid memories of the situations in which each was harvested (if you like that word better). I can also reflect upon how the money I spent contributed to the conservation efforts in Africa, and how that money made lives of the locals better. I can further reflect on how much my W 1 FE unit enjoyed each hunting trip, even though she is a non-hunter, and how she understands the benefits a dead animal brings to the indigenous population, such as food. And reflecting on the views of the Wayne Pacelles of this world, up yours, Wayne. And up yours, CNN, too.
