Buck

No problem on bookig a gerenuk except you'd need a 21 day license in Tanzania and a minimum of $48,000 before pulling the trigger. Tanzania does not offer a plains game hunt as such so hunitng the unique EA species is a very spendy adventure.

Ethiopia offers gerenuk but I think once again it will be very expensive.

Buckshotaz,

If you are interested in Gerenuk in Ethiopia, contact Rich Elliott (who posts here) at ervs@shawneelink.net, phone 618-966-3563. Rich represents Ethiopian Rift Valley Safaris.

Looking at their brochure, a 15 day Omo Valley safari for numerous plains game which includes gerenuk is $19,500 for the daily rate. License fees extra.

Best of luck on wherever you choose to hunt.

Ol' Rich is on his way to Ethiopia. We are booked on plains game into 2011. There will be 2 game census' in the Omo Concession between now and then so who knows what the quotas will be. I'll be checking back in when spring gets here. Cool
