I have just got off the phone to Gametan in South Africa, and was informed that Chris sadly passed away a week and a half ago from a heart attack.

I'm sure many AR members knowingly or unknowingly had their capes and skins tanned by Chris's company over the years, and many will have known him personally and considered him a freind.

I only met him about 18 months ago but he was one of the nicest guys you could ask to meet and a real straight shooter in his business dealings with me, which I respected immensely.

I'm personally very sad I will not get to see him next month as I had planned to visit him and collect my Zebra skins and warthog skulls. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by those that knew him better than I did.
