Not to be cynic, but if we wait on Thabo Mbeki to do anything tangible - we will be waiting a long time. Why would anybody think that Mugabe would comply with any conditions that Mbeki would attach to the loan?

To state the obvious, if Mugabe was a white man can you imagine how upset Oprah, Bono and Kofi would be?
