Looks like things haven't changed much in the 30 years since I was at a similar village on the Amboseli, except in your pics I didn't see what I saw then in many of the Masai's ears: Kodak flim cannisters. Wink

Technically, the photographs are outstanding. Colors and focus are stunning. Good control of depth of field. That particular camera is a real winner.

What are the sticks used for? The ones about 1 meter long with a ball on the end, they look sort of like a short golf club.

the club is called a Rungu. it is a multi purpose tool used to keep disgruntal wife in line and also for self protection as well as bashing cattle rustlers.
