Looks like things haven't changed much in the 30 years since I was at a similar village on the Amboseli, except in your pics I didn't see what I saw then in many of the Masai's ears: Kodak flim cannisters.

the club is called a Rungu. it is a multi purpose tool used to keep disgruntal wife in line and also for self protection as well as bashing cattle rustlers.
