This will be my first SCI convention and, regrettably, I'll only be on the floor Saturday. I've got a fairly short list of outfitters to visit, but would like to pick up a few books as well. Anyone know of any authors (African hunting) there selling their wares? Booth numbers? Thanks!

Trophy Room Books and Hunter Books also will have booths, and SCI usually provides a limited number of authors a place to sign and sell books. Books sometimes are sold at outfitters' booths, too. Hunter Books is not a publisher and won't have authors signing books, but their booth is a great place to find rare collectibles. Wish I were going this year. Bill Quimby

Craig Boddington is usually there and ,in the past, has sold and autographed books. I have not checked the exhibitor's list to see if he will be there this year.

Talked with Craig in Harrisburg and he will be at SCI.

Forgot to mention Craig's booth, as well as Sporting Classic's. Namibian outfitter Jan Oelofse's widow and son also will be selling his book. Ken Wilson's booth for Sportsmen On Film (I think that its name) usually has books, too. I'm sure there are more. Bill Quimby

Thanks for the information gentlemen. I couldn't find Hunters Books in my convention guide. Any idea what booth they'll be manning? I hope to grab Craig Boddington's book on hunting in Argentina. I picked up Jan Oelofse's life story book at the African Sporting Expo in NC last year and it's a good read.
