Between GSC 270 gn FN or 300 gn FN in the .375 H&H,
which is better or preferred for Buff and Elephant?

Will the 300 gn FN fit in a .375 H&H without taking up to much powder space or have to long of a COL since it is a mono metal bullet?

I believe GSC recommends the 270-grain for the H&H, but you should check on their website.

I use the 300gr GSC FN in my pre'64.
Shoots tight and to the same point of impact as the Barnes 300gr XXX I load at 100m, running 2440fps

start at 68gr and work up to 72gr S355.
I get good case fill and excellent burn, and very uniform velocities.

I prefer the 300-grain FN. Also responded to this more in the big bore forum.
