Has anyone used these on game?
I did a search but came up empty.
I just received some from Woodleigh in .375 and .510. They are a semi wadcutter style with the nose concave and six band bearing surfaces.
They look excellent but proof in the actual use as usual.

Yes.

They work really well.

I am happy to still use Woodleigh SN (as I mainly shoot Buff) but they certainly have a place.

Penetration is great, more than normal WB SN, wound channel as good as any normal WB SN (I had 2 shots on buff which were 6 inches apart using one of each so a good comparison.

Have a look on the NE forum as well as on here as they have been discussed at length.

Safe in Double Rifles as well.

Thanks 500N
How would you compare them in penetration against a tradition round nose solid?
