Has anyone used these on game? I did a search but came up empty. I just received some from Woodleigh in .375 and .510. They are a semi wadcutter style with the nose concave and six band bearing surfaces. They look excellent but proof in the actual use as usual. APB

Yes. They work really well. I am happy to still use Woodleigh SN (as I mainly shoot Buff) but they certainly have a place. Penetration is great, more than normal WB SN, wound channel as good as any normal WB SN (I had 2 shots on buff which were 6 inches apart using one of each so a good comparison. Have a look on the NE forum as well as on here as they have been discussed at length. Safe in Double Rifles as well. .

Thanks 500N How would you compare them in penetration against a tradition round nose solid? APB
