I know I ask this question a few weeks ago but I wanted to ask again in case anybody miss it.

Has anybody here used Umbombo Taxidermy for dip and pack.I think it's run by Johannes Meintjies in Hluhluwe.

Any other suggestions of a place to have it done

Thanks

I used John Peacock at Taxidermy Africa as well. They did an excellent job with no problems at all.

Giraffes are prone to problems
I don't know what happened to your Giraffe skins but if they are not fleashed and salted very fast you will get hair slips on them especially around the face fisrt and other places next. This can also happen on places on the skins that not enough salt was applied. A hair slip is where the hair comes off and leaves a bare spot on the skin. It's hard to fix sometimes and other times the area can be cut out and sewed back together but that depends on where it's at. If I can be of service let me know.
