RopatiAnybody ever hunt in the Caprivi with Omujeve Safaris?
I'm interested in a Namibian safari, but would like to hunt PG plus buff and possibly tuskless. I know Omujeve has camps in various parts of Namibia and I'm wondering about doing PG in one camp then transferring to the Caprivi for DG.
Has anyone done this? Any comments about Omujeve's Caprivi operations? I know they get pretty high marks on their PG hunts.

MikeEHvae not hunted with Omujeve, but have hunted one of their camps in the Mashi concession there, right after they built it. We were the first safari hunted from that camp and enjoed it very much.
If Coen is still the camp manager, it will be very well run. His son Radimar, was an ass't PH on my last hunt, about 2 hours distance, and he came over with us to have dinner one night, stayed over and hunted buff with us the next day.
My wife and her sister were under Coen's care whilst I hunted mighty beasts. They had a great time, and as he was/is a DG PH, he is very knowledgeable about the animals and such.
My PH also has very good things to say about Omujeve.
Post edit - I saw over a thousand elephant that week, didn't note any tuskless, but wasn't looking in all fairness. Did see several east of there in Salambala concession this year.
Hope this helps,
Mike

RopatiMike,
Thanks for your comments. I actually just re-read your hunt report last week.

BlankHave hunted with Corne and Nic Kruger, and all the rest of their PHs but only for leopard and PG. Hunted Erindi several times, Omujeve, and Doro !Nawas conservancy. Their Caprivi hunt will be my next trip. My son (Riverman here on AR) video'd several of those DG hunts there last season, so I will see if I can get some feedback from him.
