Leaving Saturday, but due to business travel needed to be packed and ready to go tonight. Can't wait to start what will be a physically demanding adventure of the highest order. But enough about SAA and the airbus !!

Seriously, this will be my first real elephant hunt - I got a tuskless cow last time, and was totally thrilled. Now I'll hunt for one with as much ivory as seems appropriate, at as close a range as possible, after what will seem like A LOT OF WALKING !! Double rifle, Zimbabwe (Matetsi), wife along to take eland and waterbuck on her own. Yessir, life looks pretty good right now.

Will report when I return. Leaving Atlanta on Sunday, the 29th in case any forum members are on that (lovely) flight.

All the luck in the world! I know you will have a great hunt tracking bull elephant for the next couple of weeks. There is no other hunting in the world like it IMO. Hope you find that big tusker at the end of a long track and take him up close and personal! It will be an adventure you can recount to your grandkids and they will tell theirs some day. Gig 'em!
