Spring, That was not the point to the post, but... I have all the colors of the Stormy Kroner hats, which luckily Cabelas starting selling last year. They are the best "railroad" caps made, IMO. I ordered one of the driving hats from Cabelas yesterday. It is kind of fruity but I'm sure I will look distinquished. I hope Michael Moore hasn't found Cabelas. Just what we need is a turd wearing winter cowboy wear! What I was really looking for is the old style Scot tweed crusher hat which I got from L L Bean about a zillion years ago but can't find it (Basil Rathbone wore one in some of the Sherlock Holmes movies). I found something similar at Sierra Trading Post. We'll see what it looks like when it gets here. Probably fruity too! P.S. I do have an old Chrysalis coat that is just the berries. Luckily, because I couldn't afford one now.

Spring I used to work a few doors away from Holland and Holland in London. Far from reducing their range, the shop has recently doubled in size! So has William Evans, while Both Purdy and Boss have had expensive make-overs in the past 3 years. Our biggest expo - the CLA Game Fair keeps on getting bigger and bigger. With regard to hats - I take it your comments were tongue in cheek? Turn up for a days shooting wearing one of those Elmer Fudd hat in these parts and you would be sent packing in damn quick order! All the best
