When you select a photo on your imgur album page, down in the lower right corner of the screen just select "large thumbnail" or 'huge thumbnail" and then click on the "linked BBcode" box and post. it gives a nice size photo, no sizing necessary.

Here is a vertical photo......

and a horizontal one.........

or "huge thumbnail"......

Is there a way to set a default "resize" setting so when I upload photos I don't have to remember to tell it to resize to 600 x 800 or whatever.

As stated above...just pick “large thumbnail” when picking the code to copy.

All depends on the resolution of your monitor, and whether you have magnification set on your browser.

I am using a resolution of 3840x2160, and all the above photos fit within the screen at 100% setting.

I generally size photos to 1800 pixels on teh larger size to post on AR.

Has anyone figured out how to copy the IMG link from the ios app? i.e. [IMG] https://imgur.com/a/h8fjL [/IMG] I can seem to only copy the https link and have to manually add the IMG on both ends.

2 is good. I though Andrew's tipple was Uisage beatha. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he has some Scottish blood in him, being generous to a fault. jc

When you are on YOUR images page it should show all of your photos. Click on the PHOTO that you want and this screen will appear. In the lower right corner click large or huge thumbnail then click on the word "copy" in the "Linked BBCode" line. Then just move back to hunting website where you want to post and paste it in!

Thank you, I was accessing my photos from my Album pages, and the screen that you posted would not appear.

I tried it with the method you posted, and it works great. Thanks again for your input.
