I suppose that if I had based my plans on media reports, I never would have gone to Zimbabwe. My friends, in their ignorance, knew nothing about Zimbabwe EXCEPT what they had read in the paper or heard on the news. How many pages in the paper are set aside for cities that didn't have any news yesterday? After our events in Oklahoma City, Waco, New York and D.C., I imagine that a lot of people from African countries would be afraid to visit the U.S., since it is such a "haven for terrorist activity"..... Rick, So you would go hunting in Zimbabwe based solely on the experiences of someone who had been there last year? You would ignore recent published news articles that had a direct affect on where you were planning to hunt? If you had planned a hunt on the ABC Conservancy and posted here and asked if anyone had hunted there and someone posts and says they hunted there last year and had a great time. Then someone posts a link to news reports that state the ABC Conservancy has been having some problems with the war veterans attacking the foreign hunters. You would ignore the published news reports? Of course you wouldn't. Regards, Terry

I have been thinking of a vacation to Zanzibar, it sounds like they may be a bargain to be had if you guys are worried about going there! I may even get a shot at the mythical Zanzibar leopard Ed
