I have been given the chance to offer one eland hunt and two bongo hunts in Cameroun at super pricing, this year only. The eland hunter must be able to go in the month of March and the bongo hunters late May to June. This is very short notice, but I have seen that a number of you have put eland as one of your top animals to hunt if you could ever afford it, well here is your chance.
The cost is only $15,000 each. Additional charges are the trophy fee ($3600 eland and $3850 bongo and a 15% community fee on this which is given to the local village, much like a Campfire program)
The following services are included in your 14 day hunt fee.
( * 12 days of actual hunting and 2 days for transfers )
• Transfers to and from the airport. Customs assistance, accommodation during transfers.
• Transportation to and from the zones, between the zones.
• 4 x 4 transportation with a driver during the hunt.
• 12 days of room and board including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Unlimited use of the bar.
• Laundry and ironing on demand.
• Skinning and trophy processing.
• P.H., tracker, portage and use of hounds.
The following are extras which are not included in your 12 day safari hunt fee.
• Pre and post hunt accommodations. (Usually a hotel in town)
• Required hunting license valid for hunting in Cameroon. ~$1350
• Hunting and accident insurance (mandated by the Cameroon government ~$120).
• Trophy fees + 15 % anti-poaching/community development fee on animals taken or wounded.
• Forwarding ( ~$500+ depending on volume of trophies) and shipping insurance of trophies. (~?? Depending on destination)
• Flights to/from and within Cameroon. (Flights in Cameroun are typically local commercial flights, but charter flights can be arranged. They are more expensive)
• Rental fees for our guns and rifles. Fees for ammunition. ($50/day for the rifle)
• Use of our Thuraya satellite phones.
• Non-Hunter fees.
• Tips to staff...
I sent one hunter over and he is there right now. He has already shot his eland, a sing-sing waterbuck, a western heartabeast and western kob. I have every reason to believe this PH is the real deal. He is new in the community, but using an established eland and bongo area he bought. This is his first year taking American clients. He only had two hunters last year and they shot a 45 and a 47†eland. I am trying to get more details on the one just shot this week, but they sent out a very short message of success.
Feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

Here is a list of the trophy fees for other animals. Cameroun law only allows 2 “large†animals and 4 “smaller†per hunter per year, so you will be restricted by that.
You need to get to Yaoundé in Cameroun then on a internal train or flight to Ngoundere. Both are non-charter, so cost is reasonable. You usually fly through Paris.
Hunt needs to be over by last week of March, so starts anytime between now and March 7th.

His name is Bekir Canturk. He is a Turkish PH and has not guided any US clients until this season. As a chasse libre hunter I have known of him and traded messages with him for over 20 years but did not meet him until just last year. His concession is a good one and I think he will make anyone who takes him up this opening offer happy. He wants to break into the US market so I told him I would help him out.
So far one hunter and one eland for this year. They shot it yesterday.

If you give me a phone number I can help talk you through what this will entail to make the deadlines. It is a lot of paperwork I am committed to helping you with for the Cameroun gun import and hunting permit. Possible, but you need to get going.
