Does anyone have any idea what the floating objects in the right hand portion of the picture might be. Game trail cam in Namibia. Looks like floating missiles or torpedos. The following night memory chip erased and both chip and batteries fried. Same site month earlier. No floating objects Perception is reality regardless the truth! OK, but what would erase and ruin both battery and the memory chip? Perception is reality regardless the truth! Stupid people should not breed DRSS NRA Life Member Owner of USOC Adventure TV

Obviously a UFO. My guess is something inside the camera itself. I seem to recall that film cameras can produce similar artifacts from static electricity. Liberals believe that criminals are just like them and guns cause crimes. Conservatives believe criminals are different and that it is the criminals that cause crimes. Maybe both are right and the solution is to keep guns away from liberals.

RMoo7, These are obviously glow-in-the-dark yardage markers sprayed on by Reinhard or Stevie for their client (LS) last year so he could see the leopard / heyena. As for the erased memory card and fried batteries - maybe (LS) was embarrassed and sabotaged the evidence! Ha Ha Hunter

I last year read something on this and looked it up on internet, (as I have an big interest in photography). Amazingly, the internet has whole sites devoted to this, with very similar photos. This photographic phenomenon is referred to as "RODS". If you check/surf RODS on internet you should find many photos & pages to research. Some people actually believe they are ufo's, angels, new animal species, or other such nonsense (!!)....I think (and according to most scientists), they are "probably" just bees, wasps, etc. caught on camera with slow shutter speed, which seems the most logical. But no one really knows for sure. They vary a bit in design, but always a blurred torpedo or rod shape, hence the name. Hope this helps.

Also called Orbs. I get them on game cameras quite often. Very interesting as they will always look exactly like a corkscrew. I have seen them in video as well. They will shoot across the video in a straight line, but at all different angles. Lots of debate as to what the orbs really are as you can not see them with the naked eye, but they can be seen on film and in pictures. First inclination is to say they are insects. But the uniform pattern and speed will usually convince you otherwise. The marks in this photo look more like reflection though.

Jedi Swords, from the movie Star Wars. They have been know to fall out of the sky now and then. But to see two of them fall to the same place is quite rare indeed. Good find.
