CM Safaris Discounted Hunt: Leopard, Sable & Plainsgame + Opportunity on Lion

Buzz Charlton asked me to post this hunt on AR, said he would like to offer this to members before putting on his website. I spoke w/Buzz about doing this hunt, and he wants to be real clear that there is maybe a 50% chance on the lion if somebody hunts hard all 18 days. The incredibly low day rate, and higher trophy fee reflects this. The bush is thick now, but Buzz said that especially during the later hunt the trackers will have an easier job of tracking the lion in addition to traditional baiting.

If one does shoot a lion, it will be the cheapest lion in Africa. If not, at $400/day one cannot feel too bad noting that this is CHEAP for just a leopard/sable hunt. There are said to be good leopard numbers and hundreds of sable, and one should reasonably expect to get both per Buzz.

I have no financial interest, just posting on Buzz's behalf so that hopefully an AR member can take advantage of this deal, and come back and post lots of pictures!!!

If interested, email Buzz or Myles directly at: buzzandmyles@cmsafaris.com

18 Days at US$400/Day
Observer - $125/Day
Leopard Trophy Fee - $3250
Sable Trophy Fee - $3500
Lion Trophy Fee - $8000
Other Plainsgame & Fees per Website at: www.cmsafaris.com

This will be in our KweKwe area where there have been two lions running around for a few years. I saw one and it was great. We tracked it but due to the thick cover we were unable to get on him. We have the rights to the next door area so the total area is 50,000 acres. The hunt will be with Myles and must be done between June 15th and July 16. Alternatively Sept 13 to Sept 30 with Alan.

Don't tempt me -- I can't sell enough things to go this year (or can I?). Wait, I had this discussion with my wife already... shame

I'd jump on that in a heart beat if i hadn't drawn an elk permit for Wyoming, just not enough vacation time. Heck of a deal.

What a great deal. I'll be curious to know if someone from here gets it.
