I just received an email from Safari Specialty Importers stating that they have contracted with a private air carrier to ship trophies from Africa to the US. The carrier has committed to shipping all trophies including CITES I and CITES II trophies. SSI stated that the air freight rates are competitive and may be lower than current carriers. I have used SSI twice and am pleased with their performance in organizing shipping and clearing customs, including bringing in a leopard in 2014.
