Andrew the best lever that I have found is a sympathetic ear in the media. A little public shame goes a long way to reminding Ministers to do their job and stop the corruption.

No worries and my Chief is livid and I have a cunning plan.

Nothing like a "cunning plan" Andrew.

Look after yourself and don't let your guard down..

I am glad you were able to bear up under these brutal accusations. Here in the US your life would have been over by the mere accusations.

I first experienced these communal lands when you shared Munyamadzi with me and we talked extensively about them being a very good model for sustaining wild Africa.

Cheers to Young Tom.

Speaking of gentlemen, allow me to reveal one to the AR membership. This man will put another man’s comfort and happiness above his own.

No surprise to this forum, that man is Andrew Baldry. I just returned yesterday from safari with Andrew. This is the first I have read or known of Andrew’s betrayal by these crooks. After reading a few lines, I looked back at the date of Andrew’s first post, which was Sept. 3rd. That is the day I boarded my plane to Zambia. I am not a technologically minded person like the majority of all of you. My friends and family help me with it when I need it. I did not look at AR while I was gone, as I do not have the skills to do so in the bush.

A few minutes ago, I read this entire thread. I was sickened at what I had just read. I am embarrassed that I asked Andrew casually one evening if he had read anything interesting on AR lately. Being the gentleman that he is, I now see that he was not about to reveal any of his problems, or anything else that would detract from the enjoyment of my hunt.

Andrew, please forgive my ignorance of technology and know how much I admire and appreciate your professionalism as a PH in all matters. You could have told me mate that evening when I asked. Instead, I had an absolutely fabulous hunt that I will never forget.

I am sorry to hear of such lowlifes that have tried to steal from you and ruin your good name. But good men cannot be kept down. The good folks on AR know what kind of a gentleman you are and can plainly see your efforts of conservation in Zambia.

I am so happy your wonderful family is safe and OK at the moment. You could have canceled the safari and I would have understood. I owe you one. A BIG one! Your father would be proud of his son.

I am looking forward to two things: our next hunt together in Zambia, and your cunning plan!

God bless Andrew.

somebody once told me when I was having to deal with scum that had defrauded me that the "wheels of fate do grind slowly but they do grind exceedingly small".

I learnt at a young age to take a long time to trust people and that when it comes to money and greed anything goes.

Andrew, I wish you and everyone close to you all the best and strength in overcoming this unfortunate event.Like you, I have met scum in my life. A French born Wall Street boy ripped me for US$ 500 000 and shook my hand, looked me in the eye and said "Nothing personal - just Business" - and like you, I seek vengence - one day. The wheel is turning - slowly

Thank you and yes that was a good safari and made up of interesting events. The Mamba as thick as your arm in the macharn about to be beaten with a coke bottle was a memory maker.

Talking of snakes.
