Just curious. It seems to me that grazers cover more territory than browsers. Am I correct in this thought? Was looking at the photo 375 fanatic posted of the magnificent kudu & got to thinking is that an animal you can pattern & have reason to believe he would stay in the same area unless in rut or do they cover a large area like zebra & eland? Track down a copy of The Natural History of Antelopes by C.A. Spinage. Great book, his specialty is (was) waterbuck but he covers all African antelope in pretty good detail. Can be found cheap at times. He says kudu bulls typically have a range around 11 km2, compared with up to 100 times that for eland.
