I've always wondered what the accuracy potential of the different kinds of shooting sticks available (three-legged, two legged and monopod) was, so I did a quick test in the field the other day shooting at ranges between 110-360 yards. I wrote up the result but can't figure out how to import the table into the forum, but if you're interested in seeing them they're posted on my website here: Shooting Stick Test. What amazed me is that while it the time it took me to get on target was dramatically different with the different types of sticks, the difference in field accuracy wasn't that different. Pete | ||
