Baboon caught up in clean up operation
(From the Bulawayo Chronicle-June 17, 2005)

Shupikai Kembo
RESIDENTS of Mukusha Township in Shurugwi are living in fear after a baboon emerged from a shack that was destroyed under operation Murambatsvina and has been resisting leaving the place where the shack was located.
Midlands police spokesman, Inspector Patrick Chademana confirmed the incident but said the police were not worried, as a baboon was harmless.
“We are not really concerned because a baboon can never harm a person,†he said.
However a resident who spoke to Chronicle said people were living in fear because the baboon emerged from nowhere and the way it acted left a lot to be desired. They said there was something mythical about the baboon because of the way it was behaving.
He said what scared them most was the fact although people tried to drive it away the baboon had remained stuck at the site where the shack was situated.
“Since the shack was destroyed on 10 June, the baboon has refused to leave the place where the shack used to be. It leaves in an Avocado tree near the place where the shack used to be,†said the resident.
He said the baboon can open a water tap and sometimes flexed its muscles at children throwing stones at it.
“There were some children who wanted to attack it but were given the scare of their lives when the baboon started flexing its muscles getting ready for the impending battle,†he said.
The resident said the baboon also fended off some dogs that had attacked it.

Well, it appears that at least one Citizen of Zim has had quite enough of Bob's crap! Let's hope that others will have the courage to do likewise.

I disagree with you on this.This baboon actually is Mugabe messing with folks when they are down an out!

Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.

If you where to study Mugabe and his cronies for any lenght of time and then watch a troupe of boons the only differance would be the boons do not wear clothes.The whole reason that you probly enjoy hunting baboons is the resemblens.
