For the overall experience and a chance at a Bull over #50lbs would you rather hunt in Sapi or a deal like this. Thanks for your input.

To answer your question I'd pick Bushmanland just because I have not been there. My question is does it need to be one or the other? There are a load of places where you can expect 50# or even 60# or larger. A hunt in some of these places this year can be had for around $20,000 all in.

Not sure if that part of Bushmansland is like Chobie area (not too far away anyway) but from what Ive heard, is that in this type of sandy country, the hunt seems to be done with more Vehicle use where as with Sapi, hunting will involve a stack of foot work.
This might not be the case all the time but that is the picture I get.
You might prefer less walking anyway, certainly in 40+Deg Cel.
There also seems to be more Heavy, thick Ivory taken on average from the Caprivi/ Bots area compared with the Mana pools area Safari blocks.

If I HAD to have a 50 pounder, I would go to Bots. But Sapi is my favorite elephant country in the valley. I took a 53-51 there two years ago, and it remains one of my favorite hunting memories. I have spent months in Sapi and I am biased. But a good Bots hunt will show you more bulls and a better chance at 50 pounds. Can't go wrong either way !
Good luck !!

We have 3 hunters just returning from Bots and all 3 took good bulls, one was 55# one was 68# and the last was 71#. I don't have all the details and I will; have pics up in a couple of days. I would definitely recommend this hunt as they saw huge numbers of bulls everyday.

He is of course talking about Bushmanland, Namibia, not Botswana.
