Speaking of hell, I wish to it that I had shot Bob's wonderful trophy. It's a great hunting photo, which is one of two reasons it was chosen... the other being Bob's striking resemblance to our own Ray Atkinson. But then, I thought that was all rather obvious. Sorry to offend.

Well let me see if I can stir things up just a bit...

1) As is obvious from the posting to this thread it is not Ray Atkinson in the photo.

2) Since that was known was the picture posted in order to give people something to make fun off?

3) The hunter is Bob Nelson

4) He has "such a big scope" because he is nearly blind but had refused to give up on hunting.

Now if this for some reason means that he just does not understand and should give up hunting instead of using "such a big scope" every single one of you can go to hell!

Hooray for Bob Nelson! Nice buff, nice attitude, good sport! I would like to know what caliber rifle and scope specifics if anyone knows.

I believe LV Eric shoots elephants up close and varmints afar with a .375 H&H with a big S&B scope. And he shoots them very well ... just to drag another celebrity name into the fray.

The thread does not reflect poorly on Bob, and nobody needs to go to hell.

GP Trent,
Man, you need to take a couple of asprin and get some sleep, most of us don't even know the man in question, and all that was said was said in fun.. The man does look like me, we could be twins, even I can see that!

No one was flaming anyone here and all these folks know I don't like big scopes, and just for the record the power of a scope has nothing to do with eyesight, we all see the same picture through the scope, regardless of power and regardless of our eyesight, on any given power it will just be more blurry to your friend than to some others....

Bottom line is no one was making fun of anyone but me....and I can handle it...so rest easy my friend. No one on this board is hatefull, we run them off...but most of us have a since of humor...Lighten up and enjoy the thread, we enjoy your company.
