I am new so please forgive if this has arisen lately. I just acquired my backskins from 2 safaris and wonder if anyone knows any reliable sources for customized furniture, clothing, gun cases, etc. from these tanned hides. Thanks so much in advance. FEI will make you a first class oak and leather case fitted to your gun, choice of styles, reasonable. I had an eland backskin, hair on (but sparse since he came out of the Kalahari) made into a case for the 20 ga paradox gun I used to kill it. Very happy with it. Email me for their contact info. Lewis Drake will sell you the solid teak chair pieces with the carrying case, and will also make you a pattern for the bottom and back. You would need to have your skins cut to fit Roorkhee Chair Hunting: Exercising dominion over creation at 2800 fps. | |||
