I suspect that I am in a truly tiny AR minority: subscribers to The New Yorker. The consistently superb writing gets me by the Lefty Doofus stuff easily. I commend to all with an interest in elephants, and elephant poaching, Mr. Jeffrey Goldberg's article in the April 5 issue, entitled "The Hunted." Very well researched...deals largely with Mark and Delia Owens (Botswana and elsewhere). To my amazement, I found not so much as a hint of either anti-hunting or anti-firearm bias. If you don't want to spend $5.99 on a magazine the politics of which you abhor, just about every public library will have a copy. It's worth the efort, I think. Good hunting to all, and Happy Easter.

The "New Yorker" is one of several periodicals that I've regretfully given up because of their political posturing. Thank you for the library suggestion. It's very helpful, as I refuse to fund Socialists. analog_peninsula ----------------------- It takes character to withstand the rigors of indolence.

No need to run to the library. Here's the full article: http://www.newyorker.com/repor...berg?currentPage=all The most interesting part of the article is about the North Luangwa, in Zambia.
