I lost my mom one year ago,(pls dont move thread from this forum) i just wanted to thank everyone here again for everything you sent her, I saved it all and am going to put it in the trophy room in my house i'm building. She went on 2 hunts with me sept 01 and may 03, she loved every minute of it, even riding in the back with the gut bucket, my mom was tough. She was lucky enough to meet Saeed and Walter. Its been a difficult year for me but i'll be fine.

Again thank you for everything last year, when the trophy room is completed in a year I'll post pics of the AR section of the trophy room(cool idea) and the stufff everyone was so kind to send.

On a happier note I'm leaving on a elephant hunt next week, I just got the call 4 nights ago and dont know the details, I'll have pics when I return.

sorry about the spelling,
I missed that class.

Good hunting, Eric. Glad to see you back on AR!

Eric,

I bet your mom was quite the hunting partner (just being there to witness and encourage you)! Nice that she will be a part of your trophy room, I bet she would have wanted that.

I wish I could get my mom to go with me just once to see all of the wonders of Africa!

Good luck on your up coming hunt.

Keeping memories like yours at the front of our thoughts is the best way to honor loved ones who have gone. Nice post and I'm sure you will remember many "little" things about your mom and the trips to Africa during the elephant trip.

she liked Walter alot. my mom was never offended by anyone, my dad was in the navy in WW2 and a merchant marine so nothing could bother her.
