its a fantastic breed, and you will love it as a hunting dog as well.
i got one and a alaskan malamute as a sidekick.

I had a german shorthaired pointer that I lost to cancer a few years ago. A great hunting dog. I just lost my 13 year old chocolate lab to old age, so dogs are out of the picture for now. Beautiful dogs.
