I hunted Matetsi Unit 2 in 2006. I had a great hunt, although finding good bulls of any species wasn't easy. We saw only six buffalo in ten days for example. There were many, many sable though. Bouna Safaris has Unit 2 and sounds like Russ Broom has taken over the marketing/running of it. | |||

Unit 2 has been a soap opera since last season. I was suppose to be hunting it this summer with Guav Johnson but it seems that two groups are arguing over who has the right to hunt it. Impi Safaris (who has hunted it prior) and Bouna Safaris. Looks like I'm going to be hunting somewhere else in 2013. The danger of civilization, of course, is that you will piss away your life on nonsense | |||

African Silwane (Cabelas books for them) also is hunting Matetsi Two. An AR member posted that he would be hunting with this outfit on Matetsi Two in May or june of this year. Hopefully he will have a good report about his experience. | |||
