It was shattered during shipping.

It looks like UPS got their hands on it!

Ahhh, then I can see your concern. Well, no European mount now! Hope you saved the cape, cause about all you're going to have now is a regular mount--more $$$.

Thanks, I believe I have the original fixed.

It is a european mount. Had the skull cleaned and bleached for display. It was shattered during shipping.

So what's wrong with a broken skull? Unless you are after a European mount. Perhaps you need to tell us more about the situation.

Anyone ever had this happen. At least it was my hartebeest and not my kudu. And I had it insured. I will post all detail of my shipping time/costs/aggravations as soon as I get this resolved.

I don't know if you were joking or not about UPS but it seems lately that a large percentage of anything to do with hunting or firearms is ending up damaged with UPS.>John

John-

My point exactly!

They seem to mangle everything they touch!

Could a local taxidermist help?
Other than that, some glue and some filler like spackle might work, but an experienced taxidermist should be able to get you back in shape.
