WE have another SA game ranch (much better) than the one that we lost in a land claim, it in located in the Soutpansberg Mountains about 120 kms south from the Beit Bridge/Zimbabwe border. This Conservancy 9000 acre ranch (which we will also sell at the right price) and others regionally in the valley where it is situated have a number of potential land claims as well. Our lawyers have indicated to us that many of the claims might be considered border line and some would in reality not come to fruition, but essentially as we did before, we carry on hunting and enjoying the ranch and its wildlife. We understand there are claims rumbling around our ranch and others regionally, and if they did PROVES VALID and a formal letter/offer arrived then again as before we would naturally have a good look at it in the light of day and make another informative decision at that time. As mentioned previously, these potentail claims even when valid can drag on for a couple of years, some filter out and some become reality, that is life and not much can be gained by worrying about it. If we did sell the mountain ranch (which is loaded with wildlife) that would be fine, as in ZAMBIA Alan has two other well developed game fenced ranches, and a third smaller 1000 acre undeveloped without fence, just barren land. Not to deviate too much from the origional thread theme ... I just want to reiterate to GAHUNTER and others that even when you think the earth is falling it does not means all is lost.
