Delivery time when ordering from the Craig Boddington website?

On the 3rd of March, I had ordered a Boddington On Buffalo DVD and a couple of books from the Boddington website but have yet to receive these.

Is such a prolonged delivery period normal when it comes to international orders?

After ordering I had received an e-mail notification and a month or so back, I sent an e-mail to this address asking what was happening to my order but did not receive a reply. Is there an alternative e-mail I could try?

Thank you.

Rustam

RHB,

I ordered African Hunter II from his website earlier this year. It took just over 2 months for it to arrive in Melbourne.

Safari Hunter. Pardon the digression but would you know where in Melbourne I could buy riflescopes? Nikko-Stirling in particular.

Thanks.

I ordered two DVDs from Craig's web site and received an immediate response and the goods came two days later. One was on leopard (He's in the tree) is very informative and the other Craig's new buffalo hunt DVD, not action filled with induced charges like Mark Sullivan's but imformative and realistic. Done the way buffalo hunting should be done IMO. Great service on my order.

I ordered Boddington on Buffalo from Craigs website in the middle of April this year, and it took about 10 days for delivery to the UK.

Thanks chaps. Will sit it out for another month before hitting the panic button. Hope it doesn't come to that though.

Pete,

I'm very familiar with the U.K. scene and most of my stuff comes from there - when I can get someone to bring it.

Unfortunately, our import regulations do not permit stuff like riflescopes to be imported via post, courier, etc. It must be brought in as part of one's baggage.

Since I have a friend in Oz, who is expected back in a couple of months, I thought I'd ask him to bring back a riflescope and save a bit compared to what you fellows have to pay for optics. Wish I could stretch to a Nightforce... Wink

Many thanks for offering to help. Much appreciated.

Regards,

Rustam

Rustam,

If your still worried about your video, drop Tim, (one of the co owners I think) an email on: tdanklef@aol.com

He has delt with one or two of my enquiries about DVD's in the past and has always responded very quickly..

Regards,

Pete

RHB,

It took a little over 2 months to get to Norway. Sit tight, as it'll arrive sooner or later!

Thanks a ton, Pete.

Is Tim in any way connected to Texasoutdoorsman.com? I ask because the e-mail I got confirming the purchase was from this site.

Erik,

A little over two months seems to be the norm. Will sit (or should that be sweat? Big Grin ) it out for a few more weeks.

Had a similar delay when ordering from Safari Press last year. However, in that case a couple of the books were back ordered and they kept me informed, so I wasn't expecting a repeat performance.

Thanks Steven. If I were a betting man, I'd say the odds were in your favour. Anyone want to open a book? Big Grin

Happy viewing.

Rustam,

I am not sure how it all fits together, but my order was intially auto acknowledged via an email from Texasoutdoorsman.com, but after that any other "live" emails were delt with via Tim at that email address..

Pete

An update.

Received the parcel today. However, it wasn't the original parcel.

After waiting for exactly three months, I got in touch with T. Danklef (thanks, Pete) on the 3rd of June. My problem was courteously and promptly attended to by Janice and they sent out another package on the 4th, no questions asked.

That is excellent customer service and well deserves a mention.

I ordered mine when they were first advertised and it came in a prompt manner (given consideration to international postage etc).

John,

Do you recall whether your parcel was sent via Surface or Air mail?

Thanks.

Probably airmail. Surface mail isn't an option to Australia 99% of the time.

Judging by the 2 months it took to get my order to Norway, I think my package was sent with "sub-surface" mail, or via a small dingy drifting across the Atlantic...
