Alexander Stene did me a super job, September of 2001. He is a master hunter, mechanic, cook, hunter, and all around good man. I will hunt with him, anytime, anywhere. He is welcome at my house anytime, period. When catapults are outlawed, only outlaws will have catapults!

I've been around and with quite a few PHs over the years. The best I've been with to date is Vaughan Fulton www.fultonclassicsafaris.com

John Coleman was the best that I ever hunted with and that was back in '77 and '80. I reckon that he is a bit long in the tooth now ..

I met John Coleman in 1993 while he was doing some guiding for Jan Oelofse in Namibia. John is/was one of the best story tellers I've ever come across. Every night around the campfire, John would entertain us with a different "from the jaws of death" yarn.

To date, mine have been Buzz Charlton and John Greeff. Both from Zim and both absolute gentlemen and fantastic hunters. The description "professional" fits them well. On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died. If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch... Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son! - Rudyard Kipling Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

Garry Kelly can do it all in my opinion. He fits the description of well rounded to a T. He can tell you how big the elephants ivory is as it comes out of the lip and how long a steinbuck's horns are. He can maintain a good humor even through a full month of my griping and complaining. Finally you never feel like you were BSed or that there was any other agenda than you having a great time. He gets my highest recommendation. MARK H.
