For you African hunters, or far North hunters, I have a Winchester Model 70 Stainless steel control feed, Wisner screw gizzie case hardened M0-70 old style shallow v rear sight, fully adjustable, a case hardened barrel band and a 3/32 ivory bead front sight on a ramp...Feeds perfectly and shoots well, rails polished, trigger job, action smoothed to like silk....Laminated stock with black pachmyer pad, ebony f.E. tip, checkered 22 LPI and lots of coverage..Hand fitted and cut Talley Bases included...
I built the gun for my son some time back for a trip to Africa, but he has a baby coming and his minister salary and expenses of a family have interfered with his hunting so I am selling the rifle for him...
A super nice rifle and photos are available to prospective buyers...My price for these guns has been $3200. in the past, before I quit building guns except for myself as my hunting business does not leave me time for that these days.
Price: $2500.00 without scope...

It could be rebored for about a $175. and rebarreled for about $100 to $150 plus the barrel...
I can get a Douglas barrel wholesale for about $140. so I will buy the barrel and toss it into the deal, hows that. I suspect Dennis Olson or John Ricks would install it and switch the hardware at a very reasonable cost...

Ray- Have sent you another email but so everyone knows, it looks like Ray and I have completed negotiations on this fine piece of machinery. That makes two 'big bores' in one year! My wife will want to know why but I have a little time to think of a reason.
