For some people not going on vacation is not bad news for some people it is.I am one of those that think it is bad news and don't care what anyone thinks.I take care of myself first before trying to save the world.

I agree with that, but given the paranoid reactions of governments don't give me much confidence. Nam, Zam, Zim, SA, Moz, Tanz and UAE were all put on the banned list in the UK. Now it changes to a mandatory 10 days of quarantine upon return. With the news that the vaccines have a markedly lower effectiveness on the SA strain, I don't think western governments are eager to make travelling to and from Southern Africa easier. I very much wish it was different though.

The positive is that you can quarantine at home, with the rest of your family, if you are a resident in the UK, so as long as you can work from home that should be OK.

A friend called this morning.

He said he was feeling a bit under the weather, because he had COVID - despite having both shots of Pfizer vaccine!

Don't you just love it how this is working out!?

A few cases like your friend's noted here in the States, Saeed. Apparently, all (so far) are either asymptomatic or mild cases as your friend's seems to be.

Regards, Tim
