To my friends on AR forums, i haven't posted in a while and haven't been on becuase for the last 5 weeks i've been fighting acute myeloid lukemia. I was diagnosed out of the blue and am now entering my second phase of chemo. I just want to say that the thoughts and loves expressed for Africa and African hunting by poters on this forum have kept the joy in my heart and that i hope to recover to hunt under African skies again. To the PH's and outfitters, i figure once i get my recovery on track you'll be getting some PMs from me. Till then, i'd just like to say thanks to saeed and all the posters on this great forum for keeping my African dreams in my heart. thank you. Guy. "one of the most common african animals is the common coolerbok(or coleman's coolerbok). Many have been domesticated and can be found in hunting camps, lodges and in the back of vehicles."

Guy: I wish you the fastest of recoveries and a good hunt in Africa next year. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Leukemia is one area where all sorts of progress has been made in the last twenty years. Not going to be a walk in the park, but...there is no reason to think you want be back in the bush hunting again real soon. May God Bless you and speed your recovery. Expect to see you in Joberg sometime next summer. We seldom get to choose But I've seen them go both ways And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory Than to slowly rot away!
