If you mean gun shops in Manhattan, the pickings are slim. The only other gun shop I could suggest is Holland and Holland, but they are not open on weekends:

Holland & Holland
10 East 40th Street
Suite 1910
New York NY 10016
Tel: (212) 752-7755

Hours: M-F 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You may have to sneak out of a meeting during the week.

Good luck,

Peter

Perhaps you could email the Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, and get his suggestions. Cool

Kidding of course. You could probably get a handgun with the serial numbers filed off and the grip wrapped with tape by dropping hints to people on the street.

Be careful. NY has strict gun control which means law abiding folks are sitting ducks for the well armed criminals. Not an issue for Bloomberg in his private fortress with security detail.

Best not to mess with an El Campo boy when it comes to guns. Smiler You give 'em hell Russ.

All the discussion about gun control measures in the wake of the Virginia Tech tragedy makes me sick. The solution to the problem would have been a student with a .45 ACP, with proper training and a concealed handgun permit.

Funny how you never see a mass shooting at an ourdoor show or NRA convention.

David,

I lived in Tolworth for a couple of years. Are you from those parts?

I've been in Beretta and H&H many times. H&H is small and does

not have many guns so you'll be done in 45 mins or so, 10 min's

if you want it that way. Beretta has much more space, several

floors, more guns. Less tan 40 mins from Holland or Lincoln Tunnel

in NJ visit www.griffinhowe.com it's worth it!

Griffin & Howe also have a location in Connecticut, not far from NYC. You can get directions from their website.
