In the '80s, during Kolingba's rule, Lord Derby's Eland were be exported to the US because of poaching. 40% of the military was French, including 2REP and there was still only stability in Bangui. I was there then, and even back in the day the real threat in the North was Somalia and Sudan. Gotta be a lot worse now. | |||
