Just saw today that Mike Boyce, owner of Animal Artistry, recently died from his 9 month battle with cancer. Mike was one of the very best in the taxidermy business and had amazing displays at the SCI Conventions over the years. RIP Mike, your work lives on in the homes and offices of many! | ||

Condolences to his family and friends. Always admired his firm's work. May he rest in peace. I have known Mike Boyce for over 10 years. He was a great artist and did some exceptional bronze work. When I was in planning my first trip to Africa, he was a good person to visit with. Met him in 2010, and have stopped by Animal artistry to visit yearly, when I drive to Oregon for my spring salmon fishing trip. And when I pick up tags for hunting trips, and some times pick up some of my completed items. my last correspondence was in December, may he rest in peace, and condolences to his wife and daughter. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> "You've got the strongest hand in the world. UEG, Thank you for posting. We have used Mike exclusively since our first trip to Zim in 1994. Always enjoyed talking with him at the show and visiting with him at his shop when SCI had their convention in Reno. He will be missed.
