ozhunterWow!

Gorgeous pictures!!! The buffalo is simply stunning. Is this buffalo a resident of the crater?
The price of knowledge is great but the price of ignorance is even greater.

Safari-HuntBwanamich,
What time of the year does the migration occur ? I know someone had told me before but I cannot remember.

BwanamichHarris, yes.
Safari-hunt,
The best times to view the migration is when they are in the short grass plains of the Southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Copnservation Authority area. this is between late January to late March. In May June and early July, they are in the Western Serengeti which is another excellent opportunity to view it and in a more scenic setting IMO. This is where they get to cross the grumeti river where giant crocs await them after 10 months hybernation without food!!!

Safari-HuntInteresting looks like the first person who told me when it was was not 100% correct I thought it was around a 2 month trek/migration Didnt know that it lasted that long.

BwanamichHe was probably referring to the migration cycle when in Kenya's Masaai Mara which is between late july and early to late Sept roughly.
edited to add; It is actually a year round trek between Tanzania and Kenya

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. L. David KeithThat's cool Saeed! Bwanamich, my local Taxidermist took in a few very old mounts recently for cleaning and minor repair, and one of them was a Robert's Gazelle.

Thanks
Lightroom is a workflow software - like Apple's Aperture - mainly for working with RAW files. So I presume one would still need additional software for final production.
The amount of control one has over how the photo looks is incredible! Far beyond my level. Sadly, there is not much of an instruction with it, but, the menus seem self explanatory.
