No, Virginia, logic and facts have little effect on pols. Was it Truman who said, If you can't make them see the light, then make them feel the heat!"? Methinks, however, that logic, and facts, conveyed in a monotonous professorial monotone might just be part of the reason you have this wonderful new gig! SCI has this incredibly uncanny ability of turning a blind eye to things which might affect our sport in a positive way.
Or, you might take a leave out of Out of Africa's books, and employ one of SCI's big boys.
