On Africahunting.com there is a thread about a PH killed yesterday by a buff caught in a poachers trap or snare. No details and no names.

Anyone here know anything?

I don't know nor have I ever heard of John Digby Bristow. However, when I posted this article on Facebook, I got these comments. I didn't really know what to say so I just said Karma is a Bitch and let it go. It didn't ring a bell with me who Nkomo was but, damn what a can of worms.

If he was a friend of the murderer Joshua Nkomo whose terrs shot down two civilian planes and then raped and then shot the surviving injured and who harboured aspiring terrorists, then I have absolutely no sympathy for him...Google Hundai shot down, as well as Father Costas funeral sermon ...Deafening Silence.

Why anyone especially a conservationist is a friend of a former revolutionary is beyond me. It smells of double standards. Those who died after those Viscount airplanes were shot down are proof innocent people were killed by design

Nkomo laughed during a live BBC TV interview when asked why a civilian aircraft was shot down and about the raping and shooting of injured survivors......

Surprised at the response, I searched for John Digby Bristow on the Internet and found this quote from a news article on Bulawayo24.

He immensely contributed to the armed struggle by taking care of young people leaving the country for Botswana to join the armed struggle.

Cheers,

~ Alan
