In late September, I will be heading to the Caprivi for a non-trophy elephant hunt in the Dzoti Concession. Has anyone been there in Sept or Oct?? I know it is going to be real hot. Any advice on what to bring, or not bring for that corner of Africa would be appreciated. Thanks!! Go Duke!!

Have been across the river in late September and it was quite hot but there was low humidity which helped to make it bearable.

Bring a fishing rod, those catfish love elephant meat. I see from your location you are a Texan, you might need a jacket DRSS

In stead of deet I recommend Picardin inthe avon skin so soft cream or towelettes last long time and no oily residue to take finish off rifle. Mike
