I was looking at the November/December edition on Rifleshooter magazine on page 80. It is an article authored by Terry Wieland concerning the .577 Tyrannosaur when I came across this quote

quote:
There are websites with videos purporting to show unsuspecting shooters being flung across the room by a Tyrannosaur, but trust me, folks, it ain't like that.

So I guess he's calling the Accurate Reloading video's fake? They look real to me.

Actually I think he is referring to shooters not know what they are in for. Actually anyone knowing Saeed well enough to be invited for a shoot had better know what to expect or at lease be suspicious.

Terry Wieland is an outdoor writer of some note. He has written for a number of the higher quality outdoor magazines, and has several books in print, including the following:
A VIEW FROM A TALL HILL: ROBERT RUARK IN AFRICA

SPANISH BEST: THE FINE SHOTGUNS OF SPAIN

THE MAGIG OF BIG GAME: ORIGINAL ESSAYS ON BIG GAME HUNTING AROUND THE WORLD

and

SPIRAL-HORN DREAMS

I hunted with Terry in 1991 (a caribou hunt in northern Quebec). He wrote a rifle column for Sporting Classics magazine for a number of years. He writes a column on Canadian hunting and gun ownership in the SCI newsletter. The guy has been around, and has shot a heck of a lot of different kinds of rifles. Further, I suspect that like me, he is relatively insensitive to recoil, and unafraid of shooting anything that can be held. (I thought the recoil from my .416 Rem. Mag. was mild, and shoot a .300 Weatherby for target practice). I don't believe he is calling anyone a liar, but is offering his opinion.

I would like to try the .577 T-Rex sometime. I promise you I won't drop it.

i think he ment "it aint like that" meaning that thats the eception-flying across the room, the gun can be fired with out all those troubles saeed's friend had with it, it is a handful and for someone who dosent know how to hold a gun(saeeds friend) it will go flying, but anyone who has some experience with guns will be OK shooting one, but it isnt comfortable.

sorry about the spelling,
I missed that class.
