Bullsprig- I had mine done by my taxidermist here in Cody. Turned out great but not cheap. You can contact Doug Scott or Ray Hatfield of Nature's Design Taxidermy at 307-527-6053 or if you are going to Reno or Dallas this year, you could talk to them there.

That's a good idea. I hadn't thought about zebra pillows. Maybe I'll try for two in Namibia and have some pillows to go with my rug (I hope).

Springbok pillows are really nice too. Especially if you use the top of their back where the white stripe it hidden. If it is done right it is very nice.

Red Hartebeest are great too. Very soft skin.

Bullsprig, if we meet at the AR gathering, I'll be happy to introduce to the Nature's Design guys at the show.

Terry, Jerry lost his guy that does pillows. He has my skins and skulls. I can't wait. He has come up with some dynamite plans for the trophys. Larry

My aunt in LA makes them on a commercial basis for SAX, Macy and some other Beverly hills stores. She has several of her own designs (Heart shapes, pillbox hat shapes and like that.) I know she has made leather but I recall she wasn't happy with them as they were generally too stiff and her crowd never bought them in quantity.
If you want I can call her and ask if she is willing. Do you want anything special or do you have a design you could send me to show her?
Let me know.

Absaroka Wester Designs in Dubois, Wyoming. They do my tanning for soft leather for me, and have done some nice pillows and even leather Christmas Stockings. There quality is great, and prices are good.

Mink and Wall Tents don't go together. Especially when you are sleeping in the Wall Tent.

Frank, Thanks for the followup. I am going to try to find someone closer that I can visit with personally. I am truly not sure what I want. Larry
