Bags are packed & we will be leaving home around 8 a.m. Wed.(5 hr. drive) headed to Big D for the conv. At my age, the DSC conv is both a family reunion & the next best thing to going on safari. Hope to meet many of you Fri. nite. Wishing everyone going there, SAFE TRAVELS.

It has been a long time since I have been to DSC..to give you an idea the last time I was there BOTH Ann Richards and Clayton Williams were in attendance on the heels of the infamous Governors race.

Never should have put that barring any complications into my original post. 2 hours ago, United called and said our flight out in the morning had been cancelled. They spent the better part of 2 hours trying to get us there and finally came up with a much longer trip than originally planned but will get there after all.
