Over the past 4-6 weeks, several of our clients have taken some great bulls with SSG Safaris - Zimbabwe. Below are a few pics of the recent success, just thought you guys might like to check em out! Nixon took another 85lb bull within the past 10 days, but I do not have a picture of it yet. The client was not booked through GHR, so I'll have to get permission to post the photo.

Milan Plachy - Early November 2012 (75lb x 80lb)

J.C. - Mid November 2012 (80lb x 81lb) Arjun Reddy and I booked this one together

Arjun took this pic on his recent buffalo hunt with SSG - He's still out there!!!!

Here's the 50" buffalo that won Nixon the widdest buff of the year in Zim for 2012 (Booked in partnership with Arjun Reddy)

As a side note - Arjun has been wonderful to work with. Very professional, excellent attention to detail - a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend folks here speak to him about his Asian hunts, he's definitely a professional in all aspects of the word!!! Thanks Arjun!!!

That is some beautiful ivory and buffalo.

Also congratulations to Simon for obtaining his B restricted license at the practicals in October. He can now hunt buffalo, leopard, and plainsgame.

Very good year for Nixon!!!

Aaron,

Thanks for your kind words. It was a pleasure to work with you to put the hunts together with Nixon. As I told you the pic of the live bull was the smaller of the two big bulls we saw. There was one with him that was even bigger by a long shot! With them was also a smaller 60lb bull! It was truly an amazing sight to see not one but two giants together, like we were looking at dinasours or in a time machine taken back to the Lado Enclave!

While I always hope for a clients good fortune and hunting success, in a funny sort of way I hope those bulls are still live and well somewhere in the African bush. Killing such a magnificent animal should not be taken lightly. I am sure a lot of PHs feel this way at the end of the chase.

Anyway folks if a pic is worth a 1000 words, here is the video http://youtu.be/nbYWGn-9u18 , am sorry about the bad filming I am better with a gun Wink.

Cheers,

Arjun

Some fantastic trophies! Damn fantastic!

Larry - Ole Pete "Bikini Safaris" Barnard shot one that was 46", but scored higher than this one. It won best buff in Zim - I believe. Is that the one you're referring to? Its a huge bull no doubt.

This one here was not the highest scoring bull, but was the widest bull shot in Zim in 2012. Or at least it was the widest bull that was entered for the Zim Pro Hunter's awards.
